Because now it's not about just keeping them safe outside, it's about keeping them grounded inside. Inside their mind, inside their confidence, and also inside their identity. And that's different. Somehow, you're still expected to build a legacy in the middle of all that noise. You can't out discipline a world that's raising your kid louder than you are.
