You said “we outside”… but your location says “Home.”

You keep planning life like it’s a group project… and nobody’s replying.

Episode 71 is for everybody waiting on the “perfect moment” like it’s gonna text you first.

This week on Brunch Behavior: The Pour Report, Styles pulls up on one of the most overused excuses in the game: “I’ll do it when I have the money.” Translation? You’ve been negotiating with your own life… and losing.

We’re talking about the comfort loop—same spots, same routines, same “I’m just gonna chill” weekends that somehow turned into a lifestyle. And let’s be honest… if your version of “trying something new” is ordering from a different restaurant on the same couch, this episode might feel a little personal.

But don’t worry—this isn’t judgment.

This is friendly pressure… with a side of truth.

Inside this episode:

  • Why you don’t need a luxury budget to create real memories
  • How hesitation disguises itself as “planning”
  • The real reason your life feels repetitive (hint: it’s not life)
  • And a 30-day “Go Outside” challenge designed to get you out your comfort zone and into your own story

Plus, this week’s featured drink: “Outside O’Clock” — a smooth, spontaneous reminder that some of your best moments won’t come with a full itinerary… just a decision.

If you’ve been waiting for the right time, the right money situation, or the right crew to move… this is your sign to stop postponing your own life.

Episode 71 is out now on all streaming platforms.

Caught In The Scroll Loop

Styles

Alright, so boom. I'm standing outside, my keys are in my hand, car still money, and I'm scrolling. Scrolling past people living, scrolling past flights being caught, or so we think. Whatever it is they want us to see, that's what I'm seeing. I'm also scrolling past rooftop dinners, solo trips, and quiet mornings in new cities. That's fire shit right there. And I'm sitting here thinking, like, yo, I'll do that. One day. One day be sounding real responsible, but it's more like a lie. Because the truth is we're not stuck. We just got comfortable being predictable. We scream we're outside, but we really just outside in the same five locations, same people, the same routine. And then we wonder why life feels repetitive. Check it out. That's not life, that's a loop. So today, we're breaking that. Alright, let's go inside and talk about it.

Money Excuses And Permission

Styles

Welcome to Brunch Behavior, the Poor Report. I'm Styles, and today's poor, a reservation for your life that you keep canceling. Let me break this down for you. Sip Sermon. We gotta have a real conversation about this whole I'll go when I got the money mindset. Because low-key, that's the same excuse dressed in different outfits. You're not waiting on money, knock it off, you're waiting on permission, and life doesn't send invites like that. See, somewhere along the way, we convinced ourselves that enjoying life gotta come with a luxury price tag. Flight's gotta be first class, I'm lying. That's not the way we think, but whatever. Hotels gotta be five stars, outfits gotta match the vibe of the destination. Now, this is true. You have to match the vibe of the destination, don't show up looking like a tourist. Anyway, meanwhile, your joy is sitting on standby just because the budget didn't clear it. That's crazy. Because memories don't care about luxury, they care about the moment or the movement. And the moment doesn't always require money, it requires intention. You ever notice how we'll spend money on survival but hesitate when it comes to experiences? The rent's paid, bills paid, most of them, most of them. Uber eats at 11:47 p.m. Yeah, we outside for that. Especially me, that's why my summer bodies on back order right now. But a $60 ticket to go somewhere new? Now we're budgeting like accountants. I know. That same card you swipe for comfort, yeah, that works for curiosity too. You just don't trust yourself to use it differently. I get it though. Responsibility is real and life is real. But so was regret. And regret don't care how responsible you are if it only shows up to remind you what you didn't do. So let's simplify this. You don't need a vacation, you need a decision. A decision to step outside of your daily routine, even if it's small, because small steps still move you forward. Let me break this down in a glass

The Outside O’Clock Drink Recipe

Styles

for you. Today's featured drink is outside a clock. We are recycling this one. You can find this one inside the Brunch Behavior Summer Pack. The drink is smooth, a little bold, and just spontaneous enough to remind you you don't need a full plan to have a moment. What's going in the glass? Tequila, fresh citrus, a splash of agave, and a little sparkling finish. It's simple, but it hits. Just like those last-minute decisions that end up being the best nights of your life.

Comfort Habits That Keep You Stuck

Styles

Here's a disclaimer before we get into the next part. If it feels like I'm talking directly to you, I am. Not by name, but definitely by habit. Relax. This isn't judgment. This is a little friendly peer pressure with personality. Now, if your idea of going outside is ordering from a new restaurant on the same couch, yeah, we need to talk. If you're weak in plans, keep sounding like I'm just gonna chill on repeat, that's not rest, that's an action and syndication. And if you're waiting for the perfect time, perfect money situation, and a group chat that agrees you might be waiting forever. So if you feel a little cold out right now, you're probably right. Take that nudge and proceed accordingly.

The 30 Day Go Outside Challenge

Styles

Bunch behavior breakdown. This is what it looks like in real life. We're doing a 30-day go outside challenge. It's not a suggestion, it's not a maybe, it's a challenge. Hold on. I have to be careful with my choice of words because I've been told that I'm a business bully, and my way is the only way. And if you don't do it my way, then I get upset. I want to be very clear. I'm only offering up suggestions. Do with the information as you will. But you guys are smart, you know what it is. Anyway, let's get back to it. It's 30 days, one commitment. Here's the play. Grab a pad, write down one thing that sounded old. I sounded old as hell. Don't grab a pad. Everybody has a smartphone. Open up your notes. Write down one thing, not five things, not ten things, one thing that you've been putting off. Okay? And also make sure it makes sense for your life right now. So don't write down something ridiculous, right? Maybe it's hitting a speakeasy, you know, the that you've been seeing online, or something like that. Maybe it's booking a solo dinner somewhere new, getting a slice of pizza the size of a small pan pizza, you know, because I that's a thing. There's a spot in the Bronx. Anyway, or maybe it's catching a cheap flight and flying out, and you know, figuring it out once you land. Something like that. That's crazy. I don't know that I do that, but that's crazy. Anyway, the goal is simple. Within 30 days, you complete that one thing. No excuses. Side note, you'll overthink a plan for six months, but then freestyle your way into wasting time every night. It's funny how that works, right? Listen, this is not about being reckless, this is about being intentional. You're not just outside for content, you're outside for connection with yourself. Because solo moves, that's where clarity lives. So pick it, plan it, execute it. 30 days. That's the window.

Mindset Shift And Final Pull

Styles

The final pull. Life doesn't open up when your bank account is perfect. It opens up when your mindset shifts. You don't need to go viral, you need to go somewhere. That's your pull for today.
