Brunch Behavior: The Pour Report
Brotherhood, Built Different
A single idea, a blank notebook, and an hour under pressure—watch how a life can pivot when calm becomes the strategy. We raise a glass to the Motivational Sensei, a brother who turns setbacks into systems and timing into a superpower. From early ventures like barbershops and a grassroots media movement to teaching through action, this story explores how integrity, execution, and focus can build more than businesses—they build belief.
We talk about the difference between chasing opportunity and creating it, and why results speak louder than hustle slogans. You’ll hear how martial arts discipline shows up off the mat as composure, boundaries, and precision. That same discipline anchors partnership: a blueprint for love in motion where two people build, protect peace, and move with shared intention. Along the way, we break down a ritual that bottles the theme: Therapy in the Glass—aged bourbon for wisdom, honey for loyalty, lemon for discipline, and smoked sea salt for balance. It’s a recipe and a reminder that strength lands softer when tempered by warmth and clarity.
The heart of the conversation is legacy. Brotherhood isn’t about proximity; it’s about purpose—the kind that sharpens without cutting and refines without rushing. Through a pressure test that became a family turning point, we learned why calm is currency and focus beats any flex. If you’re navigating a season that feels heavy, you’ll leave with a practical mindset you can use today: write the plan, refine the move, protect your peace, and execute with grace. Subscribe, share this with your own “sensei,” and leave a review telling us the moment you flipped the table and built a new one.

This episode is dedicated to my brother, the motivational sensei. Proof that purpose, peace, and power can coexist. Let's go. Today's pool, this one is close to home. It's about brotherhood, legacy, and the kind of love that teaches you how to move right. This one's for my big brother, the motivational sensei. A man who's built empires, kept his integrity, and turned every setback into strategy. Let's get into it. Welcome to the poor report. I'm Styles. And today's poor legacy. Splash of loyalty and to top it off with love. Pause. Big pause. Because some bonds build more than memories. They build men. I should have probably paused that, but we're gonna grow up. Let me break this down for you. You know how some people chase opportunity? Well, my brother creates it. Sensei's been an entrepreneur since about 16. While most of us were still figuring out who we were, he was already running his own playbook. He's on barbershops, he had his own club, he put together Whips, Chicks, and Bikes, the magazine that became a full-blown movement during the DVD era. Cars, Women, and Motorcycles. We had the Urban Motorcycle scene on lock, front to back, hood to hood. And while the rest of the world was catching up, we were already writing the next chapter. But what makes him legendary isn't just the titles, it's the timing. I've watched this man taking idea from paper to profit in a single afternoon. When the family's cornered, he doesn't fold, he flips the table, builds a new one. Side note, everybody's got a hustle story, but not everybody's got results. Since they don't talk about doing it, he doesn't. And then he teaches us how to move smarter. Beyond the grind, what truly hits me is the way he carries himself, with wisdom, calm, and confidence that comes from discipline. He's one of the best martial artists I've ever seen. Not the belt chasing kind, the real kind. The kind you see and say, Oh, he's built different. And it's not just his movement on the mat, it's the way he moves through life with peace, precision, and purpose. Here's what it looks like in real life. I witnessed it firsthand. It was a time when things were tight and the pressure was heavy. While most would have panic, he didn't blink. He grabbed a notebook, started writing, and within an hour, he had a plan that pulled us out the mud, real sure. That's my brother. Pressure tested, problem-proof. Watching him operate in that manner changed me. It told me that calm is currency and the focus is worth more than any flex. And watching him and my letter M build their life together, that's been his own masterclass. Their partnership showed me what love emotion looks like, and how two people can build, hustle, and protect the peace at the same time. You gotta multitask moving around these parts. That blueprint alone taught me how to love right and how to lead with patience. And lastly, how to protect peace and choose partnership every single day. Side note, shout out to my wife, Est My Peace. I love you more than words could ever do justice. Thank you for making this journey make sense. Let's get back to business. Now let me break this down in the glass for the people. Inspired by Brunch Behavior to Summer Pack, the book. Get it. Get it. I'm just going, yeah, get it. Anyway, this one's called Therapy in the Glass. Start with age bourbon. That's wisdom. The years it takes to master yourself. Add honey. That's the warmth and the loyalty your sibling gives everyone they love. A dash of lemon juice for the discipline. The reminder that growth requires sharpness. And finish it with a sprinkle of smoked sea salt. I'm lightweight bougie. Mind your business. That's the edge and the balance between peace and power. That's the motivational sensei in liquid form. Strong, grounded, and impossible to forget. Super duper pause. Just because. I meant every word, but super duper pause. The final poem. Brotherhood isn't about proximity, it's about purpose. It's about having someone who sharpens you without cutting you down. Someone who challenges you to rise higher, think clearer, and love harder. Sensei has done all of that for me since day one. From entrepreneurship to fatherhood. From fighting through life's rounds to walking with grace. He's taught me that greatness doesn't rush, it refines. So this pool is for my brother, a man of peace, power, and proof. That's the pool for the motivational sensei. Alright, so it's time to get out of here. Salute to my brother, motivational sensei, entrepreneur, martial artist, teacher, and the blueprint. You built more of the businesses, you built belief. And to my letter M, thank you for showing what real partnership looks like. And for my beautiful wife, Esther, thank you for being my balance, my heart, my home. And if you're running on empty, do what we do. Refill with intention. That's where brunch behavior comes in. Grab your free pour, five drinks, five sermons, and a moment to breathe. And when you're ready to toast balance and boundaries, sip the brunch behavior summer pack. Links in the description. Just another reminder that family is the foundation. Catch you next pour.
